Oregon: an OLCC Alcohol Service Permit before serving - servers, managers who supervise them and owners who pour - or a temporary permit while the application is processed, with the class taken within 45 days; good five years. Louisiana: a Responsible Vendor server permit within 45 days of the first day of work, for servers and security; good four years from the course. Wisconsin: an operator's (bartender) license from the municipality after the responsible beverage server course, or a provisional license good up to 60 days; licenses run to June 30, for one or two years as the municipality sets.
Sign each person onto the floor for the night. Barcard checks the state's rule for that day and refuses anyone who may not legally serve - no permit past the deadline, an expired permit, a temporary or provisional permit that has run out.
