At a Utah on-premise licensee - a club, bar, restaurant or venue - everyone employed to sell or furnish alcohol for drinking on the premises completes an approved on-premise alcohol server course before beginning work. Managers and supervisors, owners included, complete the manager course within 30 days of hire. Both are repeated every three years. Certificates and expiry dates can be checked in the state's Alcohol Server Training System.
Sign each person on as serving or managing. Serving needs a current server course; managing needs a current manager course, or the manager to be inside the 30 days from hire.
