In Clark County, exotic dancers, bartenders and package-store staff work under an LVMPD work card - the "sheriff's card". The application comes from the employer, who signs it. A card is good for five years and only for the job type it was issued for. When someone with a card starts at a new club, the employer files a location-change form with LVMPD within five days. Security guards are licensed by the state's Private Investigators Licensing Board instead. Working without a current card is a misdemeanor.
Sign each person onto tonight's shift. Anyone whose job needs a work card is refused without a current card for that job, and anyone past their fifth day here is refused until the location form is filed.
