Texas allows a record of face geometry to be captured for a commercial purpose only after the person is told and consents, and it must be destroyed within a reasonable time - and no later than a year after the purpose for collecting it ends. Tabula never holds a scan or a photo - only a reference to it, the visitor's account number and dates.

For each scan: told, agreed, taken, purpose over, destroyed - with the receipt.

Notices×

A notice is never edited once a scan has used it - the file has to show the words the visitor actually saw. To change one, retire it and add the new version.
