Coquina splits each open night's till into covers and everything else, works out Florida's 6% plus the county surtax on each, keeps the monthly return in by the 20th so the collection allowance is yours - and will not file a month with a night missing.
Opens in this browser with an invented Miami club already in it. No account, no email address, nothing installed. Never holds a customer, a card or a bank account.
The problem
Florida taxes admissions at 6% of the price plus the county surtax, collected from the customer - and a tax-included cover still has the tax inside it. A month of covers reconstructed from a bank statement is a guess on a tax return.
Florida's tax on admissions, collected from the purchaser - plus the county surtax.
Florida Statute 212.04 →the month's return is late after the 20th of the next month.
Florida Statutes, chapter 212 →the most a club keeps as a collection allowance for filing on time.
Florida Statutes, chapter 212 →Not a reminder. A night's split is refused unless it adds up to the till. A month's return is refused with any open night not split, before the month ends, twice, or paid short of the tax and any late penalty. Nothing is deleted.
How it works
Covers apart from drink, food and the rest.
6% plus the surtax on each.
And keep the collection allowance.
What it will never do
Coquina holds takings by bucket, nothing more.

The collection allowance, and a penalty of 10% of the tax a month - at least $50.
No. It is the arithmetic and the record.
The demo on this page is the whole program, running on invented records. Paying gets you a licence key — one line of text, on your screen as soon as the payment confirms: the checkout brings you back to our thank-you page, you type your business name and the key appears. Paste it into the program and from then on it keeps your own records. Until then, nothing you type into it is kept.
The key is checked inside the page, on your own machine. It never calls us, so there is still no account and nothing about your business goes anywhere. If you ever stop paying, your records stay exactly where they are, read-only, and Export still hands you every one of them.
An invented Miami club has one night still to split before last month can be filed.
