Junebug works out what California wants paid in - 90% of this year, or 100% or 110% of last - splits it the California way, puts the federal quarters beside it, and shows on each date whether you were covered or short.
Opens in this browser with an invented dancer already in it. No account, no email address, nothing installed. Never holds a tax return, a MyFTB login, a bank login or a Social Security number.
The problem
Federal estimates are four equal quarters. California's are 30% in April, 40% in June, nothing in September and 30% in January. A quarter paid in June is 15% of the year short on that date.
Not a reminder. Record payment refuses without the FTB confirmation number, an amount, or a date that has happened. A year cannot close before its January date, and closes with its verdict - met, or short by how much. A payment is never deleted. There is no override.
How it works
Tax and AGI - and this year's, if you know it.
California's 30 / 40 / 0 / 30 beside the federal quarters.
Web Pay or MyFTB, then the confirmation number here.
What it will never do
Junebug holds figures, dates, amounts and confirmation numbers, nothing more.

Questions
California takes 30% in April and 40% in June, and nothing in September. It is front-loaded on purpose.
Yes. California has its own schedule and its own penalty. Junebug puts the two side by side.
Then California only lets you use 90% of this year's tax - Junebug asks for that estimate.
No. It is the plan, the record and the gates.
The demo on this page is the whole program, running on invented records. Paying gets you a licence key — one line of text, on your screen as soon as the payment confirms: the checkout brings you back to our thank-you page, you type your business name and the key appears. Paste it into the program and from then on it keeps your own records. Until then, nothing you type into it is kept.
The key is checked inside the page, on your own machine. It never calls us, so there is still no account and nothing about your business goes anywhere. If you ever stop paying, your records stay exactly where they are, read-only, and Export still hands you every one of them.
An invented dancer paid California a federal-sized June payment and came up $1,584 short on the date.
