Levy lists each proposed adult-content tax with its rate, base and status, works out what it would cost on your own receipts in that state, and will not approve the year’s tax budget while a bill is unchecked, a state has no figure, or an enacted tax has nothing set aside.

The problem
Virginia’s HB 720 would take 10% of gross receipts from covered sites tied to the state; its committee carried it to 2027. North Carolina’s Senate Bill 1007 proposes a 50% excise. A bill passed in spring can be in force by January.
of gross receipts, under Virginia HB 720, carried to 2027 on 9 February 2026.
Free Speech Coalition →the longest Levy lets a live bill go unchecked before the budget is held.
Not a reminder. Approve refuses, naming the reason, while a live bill has not been checked at its source in 30 days or has no source, a state with a live bill has no receipts figure, or a tax passed or enacted for the year has a reserve below its cost. An approved budget is frozen. There is no override.
How it works
The state, the bill, the rate and base, its status and where you read it.
Expected gross receipts by state for the year, and the share a bill would reach.
When every bill is current and every enacted tax is reserved for.
What it will never do
Levy keeps what you read and what you set aside.
Pricing
For one business.
Every bill, every state.
Monthly. Your bank statement says Levy Software. Your licence key is on your screen as soon as the payment confirms.
Pay by card through Square, on Square’s own checkout page — we never see or store your card number. Or pay with bitcoin through our own bitcoin server. Either way you come back here, type your business name, and your licence key is on the screen — no email, no waiting on us.
Questions
No. You add them as you hear of them, and Levy keeps each one current.
The part of your receipts the bill’s definition would cover. If unsure, leave it at 100%.
No. It is the arithmetic and the gate in front of it.
The demo on this page is the whole program, running on invented records. Paying gets you a licence key — one line of text, on your screen as soon as the payment confirms: the checkout brings you back to our thank-you page, you type your business name and the key appears. Paste it into the program and from then on it keeps your own records. Until then, nothing you type into it is kept.
The key is checked inside the page, on your own machine. It never calls us, so there is still no account and nothing about your business goes anywhere. If you ever stop paying, your records stay exactly where they are, read-only, and Export still hands you every one of them.
This year is approved. Next year is open: North Carolina’s bill unchecked for 45 days, no Virginia receipts, and an invented enacted tax reserved below its cost.
