Puget tells you whether your gross clears Washington's $125,000 filing line, works out business and occupation tax at the service rate your last year sets, takes off the small-business credit, and will not let a return go in short or late without saying what it costs.
Opens in this browser with an invented performer already in it. No account, no email address, nothing installed. Never holds a Social Security number, a tax account login or a bank account.
The problem
Washington has no income tax - it taxes a business's gross income under B&O, a performer's fees included. Under $125,000 with no other taxes, no returns; over it, 1.5% for services, more once a year tops $1 million. Late costs 9%, then 19%, then 29%.
under it, with no other taxes, a business need not file B&O returns - since 2023.
Washington DOR →the service and other activities rate under $1 million - 1.75% and 2.1% above, since October 2025.
Forvis Mazars →the late penalty two months on - 9% at first, 19% after a month, never under $5.
RCW 82.32.090 →Not a reminder. A return is refused before its period ends, twice, without the gross, with a credit larger than the tax, or paid short of the tax and any late penalty. Every return keeps the rate it was filed at. Nothing is deleted.
How it works
Over $125,000? Which rate does last year set?
Gross, rate, the small-business credit.
The due date, and what each late month adds.
What it will never do
Puget holds income and returns, nothing more.
Pricing
For one performer.
The line, the rate, every return.

Questions
Not B&O returns, if you report no other Washington taxes. Puget checks.
1.5% for services while last year's gross was under $1 million. Above it, 1.75%; at $5 million, 2.1%.
A credit from the Department's table for your filing frequency. Puget takes it off and will not let it exceed the tax.
No. It is the arithmetic and the record.
The demo on this page is the whole program, running on invented records. Paying gets you a licence key — one line of text, on your screen as soon as the payment confirms: the checkout brings you back to our thank-you page, you type your business name and the key appears. Paste it into the program and from then on it keeps your own records. Until then, nothing you type into it is kept.
The key is checked inside the page, on your own machine. It never calls us, so there is still no account and nothing about your business goes anywhere. If you ever stop paying, your records stay exactly where they are, read-only, and Export still hands you every one of them.
An invented Seattle performer has twenty months of returns - the last quarter is waiting.
