Sandglass Removal Request Clock
For adult sites, cam sites and creator platforms that host member uploads

Forty-eight hours, from receipt.

Sandglass logs each removal request under the TAKE IT DOWN Act as it arrives, runs its 48-hour clock, tracks the identical copies found and taken down, and will not close a request until the image is down, the copies are searched and the requester has been told.

Opens in this browser with an invented platform already in it. No account, no email address, nothing installed. No image is ever kept.

The problem

The law counts hours. The inbox does not.

From 19 May 2026 the FTC enforces Section 3 of the TAKE IT DOWN Act: a platform that hosts what its members post must take down a reported intimate image, and known identical copies, within 48 hours of a valid request - and post its removal process where people can find it.

48 hours

to remove a reported image and its known identical copies after a valid request.

Will not close a request half done.

Not a reminder. Close refuses, naming the reason, while the image has no removal time, nobody searched for identical copies, a copy found is still up, or the requester has not been told. A request is declined only if it is not valid, with the reason written and the requester told what is missing. A closed request stays closed. There is no override.

How it works

Log, take down, close

Log the request

Who, how to reach them, where the image is, and whether it is signed with a good-faith statement. The clock starts.

Take it down

The removal time, every identical copy found and its own removal time.

Tell them and close

When the requester was told. Only then does it close.

What it will never do

It keeps the record. Never the image.

Sandglass holds addresses and times, nothing more.

No image is kept. Not the picture, not a thumbnail, not a description.
Nothing is looked up.You record where the image and its copies were.
It does not remove anything itself.Your team takes it down; Sandglass keeps the proof.
It is not legal advice. It is the clock and the gate.

Questions

The ones we actually get asked

Does it store the reported image?

No. Only the address where it was and the times. Nothing that could be seen.

What makes a request valid?

A signature, enough to find the image, a good-faith statement that it was shared without consent, and a way to reach the person.

Is this legal advice?

No. It is the record and the gate in front of closing a request.

What do I actually get when I pay?

The demo on this page is the whole program, running on invented records. Paying gets you a licence key — one line of text, on your screen as soon as the payment confirms: the checkout brings you back to our thank-you page, you type your business name and the key appears. Paste it into the program and from then on it keeps your own records. Until then, nothing you type into it is kept.

The key is checked inside the page, on your own machine. It never calls us, so there is still no account and nothing about your business goes anywhere. If you ever stop paying, your records stay exactly where they are, read-only, and Export still hands you every one of them.

Open the demo before the next request

One request is past its 48 hours, one is down with a copy still up and the requester never told, and one is missing its signature.
