Tierce counts a mixed site’s catalogue every way “content” could be read — items, minutes of video, pages, bytes — plus Kansas’s page views, compares each measure to each of the 27 states’ lines, and says for every state whether the law reaches the site, is close, or is under the line, and which measure decided it. The answer is kept, dated, for the file.

The problem
Most state age-verification laws for adult sites apply once a set share of content is harmful to minors — about a third. Kansas uses 25% of webpages viewed. Ohio, South Dakota and Wyoming have no minimum at all. Nobody knows whether “content” means items, minutes, pages or bytes, so a mixed site cannot answer the question with one number.
in Ohio, South Dakota and Wyoming: the law reaches any share at all.
Free Speech Coalition →Keep this result refuses while the catalogue is incomplete or Kansas has no page views. A kept result is frozen with its date, its shares and the catalogue it was worked from. Missouri is treated as no minimum, the careful reading, and a state reached by any measure is marked reached.
How it works
Every category, restricted or not, in items, minutes, pages and bytes, and whether the site is branded primarily adult.
The busiest month’s page views and restricted page views, for Kansas.
Reached, close, under the line, or needs page views — and which measure decided it. Keep the result, dated.
What it will never do
What “content” means is likely to be decided by a court. Tierce shows every reading side by side.

Questions
Nobody knows yet. Tierce counts items, minutes, pages and bytes, and marks a state reached if any of them is over its line.
Kansas uses 25% of webpages viewed in any calendar month. Tierce asks for the busiest month’s page views.
The Free Speech Coalition’s notes say no minimum though its table shows 33%. Tierce takes the careful reading.
No. It is the dated answer you take to a lawyer.
The demo on this page is the whole program, running on invented records. Paying gets you a licence key — one line of text, on your screen as soon as the payment confirms: the checkout brings you back to our thank-you page, you type your business name and the key appears. Paste it into the program and from then on it keeps your own records. Until then, nothing you type into it is kept.
The key is checked inside the page, on your own machine. It never calls us, so there is still no account and nothing about your business goes anywhere. If you ever stop paying, your records stay exactly where they are, read-only, and Export still hands you every one of them.
The invented creator site is 30% restricted by items, 38% by minutes, 22% by pages, 41% by bytes and 27% of page views. Tierce shows every state the law reaches on any of them.
