Bayleave works out the 0.88% contribution on your earnings, the weekly benefit from your best quarters and the leave it would take to come out ahead - then keeps every quarter's report for the three years you commit to.
Opens in this browser with an invented dancer already in it. No account, no email address, nothing installed. Never holds a Social Security number, a medical record or a bank account.
The problem
Massachusetts lets the self-employed opt in to Paid Family and Medical Leave for at least three years, paying the contribution on their own earnings. Whether it pays off depends on your earnings and the leave you expect - a pregnancy, a surgery, a sick parent.
Not a reminder. Opting in needs the three years acknowledged; opting out before them is refused. A quarter's report is refused twice, before it is over, or with less contribution than was due. Rates are refused without a source. Nothing is deleted.
How it works
Your earnings and the leave you expect, against this year's rates.
Knowing it runs three years.
Earnings and the contribution due on them.
What it will never do
Bayleave holds earnings and contributions, nothing more.
Pricing
For one performer.
The decision, then the three years.
Monthly. Your bank statement says Bayleave Software. Your licence key is on your screen as soon as the payment confirms.
Pay by card through Square, on Square’s own checkout page — we never see or store your card number. Or pay with bitcoin through our own bitcoin server. Either way you come back here, type your business name, and your licence key is on the screen — no email, no waiting on us.
Questions
Massachusetts lets self-employed people opt in. Bayleave works out what it costs and pays on your own earnings.
They change every year. Put the new figures and their source in the rates panel.
No - the minimum is three years. Bayleave will not record leaving sooner.
No. It is the arithmetic and the record.
The demo on this page is the whole program, running on invented records. Paying gets you a licence key — one line of text, on your screen as soon as the payment confirms: the checkout brings you back to our thank-you page, you type your business name and the key appears. Paste it into the program and from then on it keeps your own records. Until then, nothing you type into it is kept.
The key is checked inside the page, on your own machine. It never calls us, so there is still no account and nothing about your business goes anywhere. If you ever stop paying, your records stay exactly where they are, read-only, and Export still hands you every one of them.
