Bouncer tracks every server's, bartender's, manager's and ID checker's BASSET certificate - the new-hire window, the state lookup, the three-year renewal - and will not put anyone on a shift who may not work on that date.
Opens in this browser with an invented club already in it. No account, no email address, nothing installed.
The problem
Illinois wants BASSET certification from servers, bartenders, managers and door staff who check IDs, within 120 days of hire, renewed every three years. The state no longer mails cards - the record is on its lookup, which can take 45 days to appear.
Not a reminder. A shift refuses anyone who, on that date, has no certificate in force and is past the new-hire window - and checks a shift next month against next month, so a certificate running out blocks it now. A lookup date before the pass is refused. There is no override.
How it works
Their first day starts the window - 120 days, or your city's shorter rule.
The date passed and the date it showed on the lookup. It runs three years.
Only on the dates each person may work.
What it will never do
Bouncer holds names, roles and dates.
Pricing
For one venue.
Every server, every shift.
Monthly, per venue. Your bank statement says Bouncer Software. Your licence key is on your screen as soon as the payment confirms.
Pay by card through Square, on Square’s own checkout page — we never see or store your card number. Or pay with bitcoin through our own bitcoin server. Either way you come back here, type your business name, and your licence key is on the screen — no email, no waiting on us.
Questions
Servers, bartenders, managers who oversee alcohol sales, and door staff who check IDs.
Set the window - anywhere from 1 to 120 days - and every shift is checked against it.
No. It is the record and the gate in front of the rota.
The demo on this page is the whole program, running on invented records. Paying gets you a licence key — one line of text, on your screen as soon as the payment confirms: the checkout brings you back to our thank-you page, you type your business name and the key appears. Paste it into the program and from then on it keeps your own records. Until then, nothing you type into it is kept.
The key is checked inside the page, on your own machine. It never calls us, so there is still no account and nothing about your business goes anywhere. If you ever stop paying, your records stay exactly where they are, read-only, and Export still hands you every one of them.
One door checker is past 120 days with no certificate, one certificate has run out, and one pass never showed on the lookup.
