Lariat Texas Public Information Report Keeper
For performers, creators and small clubs run as Texas LLCs that owe no franchise tax

No tax due is not nothing due.

Lariat keeps the answers the Public Information Report asks for, counts down to May 15, records the extension only if it was asked in time, shows the $50 and the forfeiture risk when a year slips - and will not call a report filed without a Webfile confirmation number.

Opens in this browser with an invented LLC already in it. No account, no email address, nothing installed. Never holds a Webfile login, a bank login or a Social Security number.

The problem

The No Tax Due Report went away. This did not.

Since 2024 a Texas LLC under the threshold files no No Tax Due Report, and plenty of owners stopped filing anything. The Public Information Report is still owed every May 15, and an LLC that skips it is sent a notice of intent to forfeit its right to do business in Texas.

$2.65 million

no-tax-due threshold for 2026 reports - under it, the PIR is still required.

Texas Comptroller →
May 15

the annual report's due date; the next business day if it falls on a weekend.

Texas Comptroller →
$50

penalty on each report filed after the due date.

Texas Comptroller →

Will not call a report filed, or a deadline moved, on your say-so.

Not a reminder. Filed refuses while a manager or member has no title or mailing address, the registered agent or signer is missing, the year's revenue is over the threshold, or there is no Webfile confirmation number. An extension asked after May 15 is refused. A filed report stays filed. There is no override.

How it works

Answer once, file every May

Fill in the answers

The LLC, its offices, its registered agent, every manager and member, and who signs.

Add the year

The revenue figure tells you whether the PIR is all that is owed.

File it in Webfile

Copy the answers in, then record the confirmation number here.

What it will never do

It keeps the report. Never the login.

Lariat holds the report's answers, dates and confirmation numbers, nothing more.

No Webfile login. You sign in to the Comptroller yourself.
It files nothing. It keeps the answers ready and the record of what went in.
No Social Security numbers. The report does not ask for them, and neither does Lariat.
It is not tax or legal advice.Over the threshold, your accountant files the full report.

Questions

The ones we actually get asked

We owe no franchise tax. Do we still file?

Yes. Under the threshold the No Tax Due Report is gone, but the Public Information Report is still required every year.

What if we go over the threshold?

Lariat flags the year and will not mark the PIR alone as filed. The full franchise tax report is your accountant's work.

Is the report public?

Yes - it is called the Public Information Report. Use a business mailing address you are content to publish.

Is this tax advice?

No. It is the record and the gates in front of calling a report filed.

What do I actually get when I pay?

The demo on this page is the whole program, running on invented records. Paying gets you a licence key — one line of text, on your screen as soon as the payment confirms: the checkout brings you back to our thank-you page, you type your business name and the key appears. Paste it into the program and from then on it keeps your own records. Until then, nothing you type into it is kept.

The key is checked inside the page, on your own machine. It never calls us, so there is still no account and nothing about your business goes anywhere. If you ever stop paying, your records stay exactly where they are, read-only, and Export still hands you every one of them.

An invented LLC paid $50 for last year's late report, and this year's cannot go in until one member's mailing address does.
