Newsprint New York LLC Publication
For performers, creators and studios forming an LLC in New York

120 days to publish. Or the LLC is suspended.

Newsprint counts down the 120 days from your articles, keeps the daily and the weekly run on six successive weeks each, holds the two affidavits, and will not let the certificate of publication go in early or short.

Opens in this browser with an invented studio LLC already in it. No account, no email address, nothing installed. Never holds a Social Security number, a filing login or a bank account.

The problem

A week missed starts a run over.

A new New York LLC must publish a notice in two newspapers the county clerk designates - one daily, one weekly - once a week for six successive weeks, all within 120 days, then file a certificate of publication. Miss it and the LLC's authority to do business is suspended.

Will not let a run break unnoticed.

Not a reminder. An insertion is refused twice in one week, after a skipped week, before the filing or past six. The certificate is refused before both runs are done and both affidavits are in, or with less than the $50 fee. Nothing is deleted - a broken run is kept, marked void.

Questions

The ones we actually get asked

Which newspapers do I use?

The ones the clerk of your LLC's county designates - one daily and one weekly.

The paper skipped a week.

Then that paper's six successive weeks start again. Newsprint keeps the broken run, marked void, and starts a fresh one.

What if I miss the 120 days?

The LLC's authority to carry on business is suspended until the certificate is filed. Newsprint shows the day it began.

Is this legal advice?

No. It is the dates and the record.

What do I actually get when I pay?

The demo on this page is the whole program, running on invented records. Paying gets you a licence key — one line of text, on your screen as soon as the payment confirms: the checkout brings you back to our thank-you page, you type your business name and the key appears. Paste it into the program and from then on it keeps your own records. Until then, nothing you type into it is kept.

The key is checked inside the page, on your own machine. It never calls us, so there is still no account and nothing about your business goes anywhere. If you ever stop paying, your records stay exactly where they are, read-only, and Export still hands you every one of them.
