Nightbag Cash Deposit Log
For cash-heavy clubs, and dancers and creators paid in cash

Honest money, split deposits.

Nightbag counts each night's cash once per till and refuses any deposit that is not whole nights, to the cent, one a day - so the record itself shows the money went in as it came in.

Opens in this browser with an invented club already in it. No account, no email address, nothing installed. Never holds a bank account number, a login or a customer's name.

The problem

Banking a bit at a time can look like a crime.

Splitting cash into deposits under $10,000 so the bank will not report it is structuring - a crime even when every dollar is honest. Examiners look for a legitimate reason for the pattern. Nightbag keeps it.

$10,000

of cash in a day and the bank files its own report. That part is routine.

Dimov Tax →
5324

is the federal law that makes splitting deposits to avoid that report a crime.

Precision Tax →
Legal money

is no defence to structuring. The record of why is.

Precision Tax →

Will not take a split deposit.

Not a reminder. Record the deposit refuses one that holds part of a night back, one dated before its nights, and a second deposit on the same day. Cash held more than a week is flagged. A banked night is never changed and nothing is deleted. There is no override.

How it works

Count, bank, keep

Count the night

Once per till, the night it was taken.

Bank whole nights

Tick the nights; the deposit must match them to the cent.

Keep the reason

Every deposit shows the nights it was made of.

What it will never do

It keeps the counts. Never the account.

Nightbag holds nights and deposits, nothing more.

No bank account numbers. The bank's name is enough.
No logins. It never connects to your bank.
No customer names. It is about your cash, not who paid it.
It is not tax or legal advice. It keeps the record; it does not judge it.

Questions

The ones we actually get asked

Is a deposit over $10,000 a problem?

No. The bank files its report and that is routine. Nightbag never asks you to keep a deposit under the line.

Why only one deposit a day?

Two deposits on one day are the pattern that looks like splitting. Put the cash in as one.

I am a dancer, not a club. Does it fit?

Yes. A source can be a shift, a stage or a party as well as a till.

Is this legal advice?

No. It is the record and the gates.

What do I actually get when I pay?

The demo on this page is the whole program, running on invented records. Paying gets you a licence key — one line of text, on your screen as soon as the payment confirms: the checkout brings you back to our thank-you page, you type your business name and the key appears. Paste it into the program and from then on it keeps your own records. Until then, nothing you type into it is kept.

The key is checked inside the page, on your own machine. It never calls us, so there is still no account and nothing about your business goes anywhere. If you ever stop paying, your records stay exactly where they are, read-only, and Export still hands you every one of them.
