Overture Recording Consent File
For cam sites and adult phone lines that record private sessions or calls

Consent first, then record.

Overture records the exact notice each customer heard or clicked before a session was recorded, what they did, and when recording began - and will not let a recording be kept in an all-party state without that proof.

Opens in this browser with an invented platform already in it. No account, no email address, nothing installed. No recording and no name is ever kept.

The problem

California counts every party.

California Penal Code 632 bars recording a confidential conversation without the consent of all parties, and 637.2 lets the person recorded sue for $5,000 a violation or three times damages. A notice at the very start is how a business gets consent - if it can prove which notice, and when.

$5,000

per violation, or three times actual damages, whichever is greater.

All parties

must consent before a confidential conversation is recorded in California.

CACI 1809 →
No damage needed

the person recorded can sue without showing any actual harm.

Will not keep a recording without proof.

Not a reminder. Keep refuses, naming the reason, when recording began before the notice, when the notice was already retired, when a click notice was used on a call or a spoken one on a session, or when nothing shows the customer agreed. Such a session is recorded as destroyed, with the reason. A notice a session used can never be edited. There is no override.

How it works

Notice, session, decide

Write your notices

Each version word for word: spoken for calls, clicked for sessions.

Log each session

Account number, state, the notice given, what the customer did, when recording began.

Keep or destroy

Kept with its proof, or destroyed with the reason. Then it stays that way.

What it will never do

It keeps the proof. Never the recording.

Overture holds references, account numbers, states and times, nothing more.

No recording is kept.Only its reference in your own store.
No customer name.An account number is enough to find the session.
It does not decide which states.Your all-party list is yours, set with your counsel.
It is not legal advice. It is the record and the gate.

Questions

The ones we actually get asked

Does it hold the recordings?

No. Only the reference to where your system keeps each one.

Which states need every party's consent?

California for certain; the others are your list, set with your counsel. The demo starts with a common list you can change.

Is this legal advice?

No. It is the record and the gate in front of keeping a recording.

What do I actually get when I pay?

The demo on this page is the whole program, running on invented records. Paying gets you a licence key — one line of text, on your screen as soon as the payment confirms: the checkout brings you back to our thank-you page, you type your business name and the key appears. Paste it into the program and from then on it keeps your own records. Until then, nothing you type into it is kept.

The key is checked inside the page, on your own machine. It never calls us, so there is still no account and nothing about your business goes anywhere. If you ever stop paying, your records stay exactly where they are, read-only, and Export still hands you every one of them.

Open the demo before the next session

One session was recorded before its notice, one used a retired notice, and one call has nothing to show the customer agreed.
