Pinetree Maine Harassment Training File
For Maine clubs and venues with 15 or more employees

Within a year of hire. Every topic, every time.

Pinetree tracks each employee's sexual harassment training against the topics Maine's statute requires, the additional supervisor training, and the yearly notice - and refuses a training that leaves a topic out.

Opens in this browser with an invented club already in it. No account, no email address, nothing installed. Never holds a complaint, a witness statement or a Social Security number.

The problem

A training that skips a topic does not count.

Maine employers with 15 or more employees train everyone within a year of hire, and supervisors get more within a year of promotion. A club with seasonal staff and floor promotions loses track of who is due.

15 employees

and every employee in Maine is trained.

Supervisors

get additional training within a year of promotion.

Will not count a training that skips a topic.

Not a reminder. Record training refuses one that left out any required topic, one dated before hire, and a supervisor training dated before the role. Due dates and keep dates are worked out. Nothing is deleted. There is no override.

How it works

Hire, train, notify

Add the hire

The year to train is worked out.

Record the training

Tick the topics covered; all of them, or it is refused.

Give the yearly notice

Every employee, every year.

What it will never do

It keeps the training. Never the complaints.

Pinetree holds people, dates and topics, nothing more.

No complaints.Investigations belong somewhere else.
No witness statements.Nothing is uploaded.
No Social Security numbers.Payroll already has them.
It is not legal advice. The Maine Department of Labor is the reference.

Questions

The ones we actually get asked

We have 12 employees.

Maine's statute requires the training at 15 or more. Pinetree says so when you enter your headcount.

What has to be covered?

That harassment is illegal, its definition, examples, your complaint process, the Maine Human Rights Commission's process and how to reach it, and protection against retaliation.

Do dancers on the payroll count?

Every employee does.

Is this legal advice?

No. It is the record and the gates.

What do I actually get when I pay?

The demo on this page is the whole program, running on invented records. Paying gets you a licence key — one line of text, on your screen as soon as the payment confirms: the checkout brings you back to our thank-you page, you type your business name and the key appears. Paste it into the program and from then on it keeps your own records. Until then, nothing you type into it is kept.

The key is checked inside the page, on your own machine. It never calls us, so there is still no account and nothing about your business goes anywhere. If you ever stop paying, your records stay exactly where they are, read-only, and Export still hands you every one of them.
