Rampart Retail Worker Safety File
For adult retail stores in New York with 10 or more store employees

Ten on staff and the Act applies.

Rampart keeps the written violence prevention policy, every employee's interactive training at hire and every year on all seven topics, each store's exits and meeting places, and the notice in each worker's own language - and refuses a training that falls short.

Opens in this browser with an invented boutique already in it. No account, no email address, nothing installed. Never holds a customer's name, an incident victim's details or a camera feed.

The problem

Seasonal staff, yearly training, two languages.

New York's Retail Worker Safety Act covers a store with ten employees: a written policy, interactive training at hire and every year, the store's own exits, and a written notice in English and the worker's primary language. Turnover makes it easy to miss one.

Will not record a training that falls short.

Not a reminder. Record training refuses a session missing a topic, one that was not interactive, one at a store with no exits list, or one where the notice was not given in the worker's own language. The policy cannot be adopted without its four parts. Nothing is deleted. There is no override.

How it works

Policy, stores, people

Adopt the policy

Your own with its four parts, or the Department of Labor's model.

Write each store's exits

The site-specific list every training has to cover.

Train and record

At hire and every year, with the notice in each worker's language.

What it will never do

It keeps the file. Never the incident.

Rampart holds the policy, the training record and the exits, nothing more.

No customer names. It is about your staff and your store.
No incident victim's details.Incident reporting is in your policy, not in this file.
No camera feeds.Nothing is watched or tracked.
It is not legal advice. The Department of Labor's model is the reference.

Questions

The ones we actually get asked

We are an adult boutique. Are we a retail store?

The Act covers stores selling consumer goods at retail with at least 10 employees at the store.

Can we use the State's model policy?

Yes. Tick the Department of Labor model and Rampart accepts it as your policy.

What languages does the notice need?

English, and the language each employee names as their primary one.

Is this legal advice?

No. It is the record and the gates.

What do I actually get when I pay?

The demo on this page is the whole program, running on invented records. Paying gets you a licence key — one line of text, on your screen as soon as the payment confirms: the checkout brings you back to our thank-you page, you type your business name and the key appears. Paste it into the program and from then on it keeps your own records. Until then, nothing you type into it is kept.

The key is checked inside the page, on your own machine. It never calls us, so there is still no account and nothing about your business goes anywhere. If you ever stop paying, your records stay exactly where they are, read-only, and Export still hands you every one of them.

Open the demo before the next hire

An invented boutique's second store has no exits list - so nobody hired there can be trained yet.
